A bit about the edges:

The first edge features the Moonplumes dragon with its luminous, iridescent, leathery skin. This creature is native to the dark, freezing side of the world (The Shade). Shades of blue and white are used here to match the cover and highlight the cold nature of this story. The design is framed by an elegant, frosty gothic archway.

The Ballad of the Falling Dragons completely flips the atmosphere, shifting into a heavy, grounded palette of rich coppers and earthy browns featuring Sabersythes, heavily scaled with tusks and spikes. This dragon is native to the boiling, sun-facing side (The Burn). The entire design is framed with an archway similar to the first edge.

The ultimate collector’s detail happens when they sit together on your shelf. When you place these two books side by side, the half moons on both the edges align to form a full moon.

About the Books:
